It is but a simple project to put your site online for free. Here is a step by step checklist.
1. Go to Geocities and sign up for a free website.
2. Follow the instructions there to get familiar with the site.
3. After getting familiar with the site click on file manager from the Geocites main page and then open the file manager. In the file manager there will be a main folder. In this main folder create two "New" folders. All web hosts will have a main directory folder where you will upload all your files. Name the two folders "webpages" and "images" exactly without the quotes or the template pages will not work.
4. Next upload the index.html "Enter Page" to the main folder.
5. Then upload the web pages that are in the "webpages" folder on your PC, to the "webpages" folder at geocites.
6. Lastly, upload the image files to the "images" folder.
The templates come in a self-extracting exe file which creates the folder and file structure is automatically. This is how you should set the template up anywhere online or offline.
Review. The index.html "Enter Page" will all be the only .html page in the main folder at whatever host you use. And there will be two folders named images and webpages that will hold the rest of the files.
