Waiver Requests

Waiver Requests - Team Owners submit requests for a player, and at the end of a specified period of time, players are assigned on a worst-to-first basis (i.e., the lowest ranked team gets the first choice, the second lowest ranked team gets the second choice, and so on).
Team Owners have a maximum of 8 waiver requests for new players in a given waiver window.
Deadlines - Waiver Requests Starting at Kickoff of the First Game of the Week until Wed. Noon Eastern. Then First Come, First Served until Kickoff of the First Game of the Following Week.
All dropped players are placed on waivers for 2 days. And are awarded on a player-by-player basis, at 3am ET, 2 days after the player is dropped.
Team owners can not submit requests for recently dropped players "separately" from other players (free agents), as subject to league calendar rules.
Players are then awarded to teams on a worst to first format based on current season standings for each week.
The system maintains a season-long rolling waiver order, moving the franchise that picks to the bottom of the list.
Waivers Will Be Automatically Processed.Waivers cannot be automatically processed between 12:00 noon ET and 11:45pm ET on Sundays, due to the upcoming and on-going NFL games during that time.
No Waivers Allowed Tue Dec 25 1:00:00 p.m. ET 2012 until after draft.
