Draft Procedure

Elite Keeper Fantasy Baseball has 2 options for drafting. The first option is a Live Draft in the Fantasy League Manager Draft War Room. Or option 2 by Message Board where Team Owners will draft players by posting there picks at that message board.
All first year leagues conduct a 26 round draft.
(Serpentine Order 1-12, 12-1)
Second year and beyond teams conduct a 17 round draft.
(Repeat Order 1-12, 1-12)
Draft orders for 1yr leagues are randomized when the league is full and 2yr leagues and beyond are pre-determined from team rankings.
Second year leagues are only drafting 17 rounds. (9 keepers, plus 17 rounds equal the 26 total player roster. Trades, ect may offset this for some teams. If any team is over the maximum roster limits after the draft. These teams will trim their rosters to the legal limits within 48 hours after the draft. If teams have short rosters, they may add players after the draft is over.
Draft times and dates in the future will be the same as the original date give or take a day or 2. For example, a team drafts on (Jan. 28th Sat. 2006) the fourth Saturday in January. In 2007 the draft would be (Jan. 27 Sat. 2007) also the fourth Saturday in January.
