4 Players for 3 Trade?
Question from: Brad - Originally received on 06/06/07
Question - I am in a keeper league in which we keep 3 batters and 2 pitchers, and I am currently in 2nd place in the league. I was offered the following trade: I would receive Adam Dunn, Bobby Abreu, Roy Oswalt, and Jonathan Papelbon and would give up Lance Berkman, Francisco Rodriguez, and Jeremy Bonderman.
As some background information, I already have Justin Morneau, Victor Martinez, and J.J. as possible keepers for hitters, and Johan Santana and at the moment, Krod, Bonderman, or Sabathia as my other keeper for pitchers. Do you think I should accept this trade, because Adam Dunn is definitely an upgrade over my currents outfielders and having Oswalt and Santana would give me a great start to my rotation for next year? Thanks for the advice.

Answer - Yes, I would take this trade. Your getting 2 good bats for 1 which should improve your batting stats. And getting a better RP in Papelbon. Although you are giving up a little with trading Bonderman away. But, still both are pretty close.
