In Need Of A Defenseman?

     Question - I am in need of a defenseman who can put points on the board for me. I was looking at 3: Shea Weber, Ruslan Salei, and Marek Zidlicky. Which one would you suggest picking up or are the any other suggests you might have? I also could use a winger too. Any advice. This is a 14 team league with 15 man rosters.

     Answer - I would go with Weber or Salei depending on your team needs. Weber will probably get you more goals. But Salei has double the power play points then Weber.

     If your looking for Wingers its hard for me to say since I do not know your scoring system, but the below players have been picked up recently in a few of our leagues and may be a good addition for backups or filling in for injured players. Also, continue to watch the waiver wire for any rookie call ups. In the next few months there should be some real talent coming up to the NHL. Our section on Rookies has plenty of prospect rankings you can check out in our hockey section.
