Draft M. Lynch or C. Jackson? - Originally received on 07/10/07
Question from: Ryan
Question - I have a tough decision to make in a couple of weeks regarding the rookie draft in our keeper league. We use a standard scoring system without points for receptions, and we start 3 WR and 2 RB. I currently have Steven Jackson, Reggie Bush, Chad Johnson, and Torry Holt. I also have the 2nd and 9th rookie pick. Who do I take at #2 Lynch or C.J? I am leaning towards Lynch since I can take a Dwayne Jarrett or Robert Meachem with the 9th. After our rookie draft, we get to keep the players we drafted free for 3 years

Answer - Steven Jackson is a solid fantasy player but, Bush does split a little time with carries that take away from his fantasy value slightly. You have two good WRs.
First, I don't really think you can go wrong with either Lynch or CJ.I tend to draft an RB if available. And Lynch will be starting this season and expected to perform. Calvin is real tempting, but over 3 years I believe Lynch will have more fantasy value as an RB.
