2 Players To Keep?
Question from: kmccarter
Question - My 10-team league is moving to a new format where you use your 2007 picks to "draft" your keepers. Whatever round a player was drafted in 2006, that's the round an owner can keep them in for 2007. Since this makes the keepers more about value than point production, I was looking to get a few early tips or suggestions. You only keep two players, these are the players I'm considering and the rounds they were selected in 2006:
P. Manning (2nd), Javon Walker (6th), Laveraneus Coles (10th), Drew Brees (10th), Marion Barber (13th)

Answer - Manning goes without saying. Especially at 2nd round, as 95% of my leagues he went in the first round.
Barber would be my 2nd at rd 13. He got alot TDs and his role my pick up some in 07. J. Jones had a slight drop off. Either to being the end of the season or in Parcells doghouse.
Brees was great, but you cant start 2 QBs in most leagues.
I think you can get comparable WRs in your draft. But Manning and Barber would be hard to replace at those rounds.
