     Question - I need to keep 7 from this list. I like my bats better than my arms, but it seems foolish to let Hernandez go. Can you offer any advice?

     D. Young
     H Pence
     C. Pena

     Answer - It is a same you can not keep more players. You have some real nice batters. If I had to choose my keepers now I would keep the following listed below. At the time you do sign your keepers it would be a good to analyze them again.

     One slight issue with the batters below is I have two 1B listed. If you have a UT spot that should be ok though. I placed some thoughts on the players below.

     M. Cabrera ( Always a solid keeper. )
     C. Pena ( Has really poured it on now and it is hard to ignore his performance. He will probably not match his career numbers next season but, should still be solid. I do think he is a slight risk though. )
     G. Sizemore ( Is having a great season and should be on all keeper lists. )
     A. Gonzalez ( Is the second 1B I have listed. I think he is worthy of a spot if you can use two 1B in your starting roster. )

     F. Hernandez ( He has alot of potential and I really try to keep a balance between pitchers and batters when choosing them. )
     R. Halladay ( Keeper )
     D. Matsuzaka ( Keeper )

     Here are some thoughts on your other possible keepers.

     R. Martin ( I usually don't keep a catcher with so few keeper slots. Mainly because there is so much wear and tear on them and the many days off. Martin has been good but I would pass. )
     I. Kinsler ( Low runs and avg. I would pass on him. )
     M. Tejada ( Again nice numbers but your other keepers are much better. )
     J. Bay ( Normally I would keep Bay, but he has trailed off some. And being limited on keepers I would go with the ones I mentioned above. )
     D. Young ( As for Young and Pence. I do like them a whole real lot. But, I think it would be unwise to keep them. Plus I think you can still draft them again next season )
     H Pence

     Again I would revisit this at the end of the season. Young, Pence and Bay are on the bubble and with a strong finish I may switch them.
