Choosing Three Keepers?

     Question - I need to choose THREE keepers out of this bunch, and I'm not really sure who to keep. Here are the players, followed by the league settings.

     Garret Anderson
     Casey Blake
     Joe Crede
     J.D Drew
     Prince Fielder
     Juan Pierre
     Edgar Renteria
     Alex Rios
     Jeremy Bonderman
     Francisico Codero
     Livan Hernandez
     Chris Young
     Pedro Martinez
     Joe Nathan
     Nate Roberston
     Brad Penny

     I need to pick THREE out of that bunch. Here are the league settings.

     Scoring Type: Rotisserie
     Player Universe: All of Baseball (NL and AL)
     Positions:
     1 Each: Catcher, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, SS, LF, CF, RF
     1OF, 1IF, 1UTIL (UTIL is Newly Added: "The Hafner Slot")
     Pitchers: Starting Pitchers, 3 (closers)
     Bench: 9 Bench Slots
     Injury Reserve: 3 IR Slots
     Stat Categories:
     Batters: Runs, Hits, Homeruns, RBI's, Stolen Bases, Batting Average,
     Pitching: Wins, Shutouts, Saves, Strikeouts, ERA

     Answer - First I would not keep a closer, their return is not worth a keeper slot. I would keep at least 1 pitcher. I have C. Young slightly favored over Bonderman. Then I would keep Crede and Fielder. Both will help you alot in all the batting categories minus SBs. Pierre is was close in my decision as his SB potential is great and Rios to if he can play a whole season.

     Young, Crede and Fielder. On the bubble Pierre and Rios.
